About
I am a music producer from Austria, where music production has been booming lately. I use different digital audio workstations which include Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, Pro Tools, and Cubase. Each DAW has different plugins to it, so I'll mostly be going over different plugins and VSTs for hip hop production, EDM production, pop, and a lot more.
Austria and Europe is quite developed when it comes to arts, with its fantastic architecture, famous artists, and fashion designers. Moreover, you must've noticed that most EDM producers actually come from Europe as well. I don't know what influenced this, but we sure can not deny the facts. Influenced by early Martin Garrix and Avicci, I've spent years learning how to make music while trying to manage my school and later my full time job.
I've started using Ableton when I was at high school, fooling around with a few friends of mine. What a lovely time! Then I realized that music production has an outstanding potential, so I got to work. Hours and hours of work, a lot of restless nights, tens if not hundreds of beats. Finally, I've made my first dollar! Things didn't get much easier after that. I am like a shark - once I've tested the blood, I got even more wired up. I had potential, I was smart.
Why couldn't I start making living off my music?

Why couldn't I start making living off my music?
This question's been hunting me for months. The best way to deal with myself being incredibly overwhelmed was working even more, which made me feel better. In the short run, I've been winning. In the long run, I've been losing. My health had gotten worse, I had less energy and inspiration. I was very lost. I just needed to rest, but I was too busy working and didn't realize that. One day I couldn't focus or get off my bed because of my headache. Moreover, my entire body was in pain. I called the emergency, and they've diagnosed me with extreme fatigue disorder.
I was told to rest for up to 8 hours a day, and get at least 8 to 10 hours of sleep every night. I was a little scared, so I followed their advice. I was only working on my music for a few hours every day, going to bed at 10, and waking up early. I started eating healthy, drinking water, and simply taking care of myself. You won't believe this, but my sales haven't been going down.
It took me longer to get back to people, I wasn't uploading as many beats, and I generally didn't care about my online income nearly as much. This didn't stop people from buying my beats and telling their friends about me. I've had to rest for a few months, and the revenue has only been increasing. How is this possible?
Apparently, all I needed was to give my account some time to get found by people. Going viral is easy, increasing your engagement manually is not. Once I've started making enough to support myself, I quit my job. As a result, I had a lot more time and less stress in my life. I wanted to help people!
That's why I've decided to create this blog where I talk about music production, best VST plugins in different formats, various beatmaking, mixing, and mastering techniques, and a lot more!
Tune in and I promise that you'll learn a lot...
Here is the Martin Garrix music video that made me want to become a professional music producer, "Animals":
